I'd like to know as well, and if anyone thinks it is worthwhile, perhaps you could take a video clip of the concert, send it to me, and I can extract/clean up the audio and we can put it up here...it all depends on what someone wants to do.

I didn't even know we had one. Is it like a Chamber Ensemble deal or is it a live bands deal? I need to look inot this.. if it's a live bands deal I'll probably be performing. Play some Tool or something. Yeah yeah.

December 2nd, 7:00 (I think) at the auditorium. Cost is free.
I know Concert band is doing a jazzed-up version of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy featuring their trombones, but I'm not sure what else.
Jazz band- no idea. It will probably be good.
Concert Choir, some 'Christmas in Latin America' song, 'It's Christmas - Sha na na na' (Hmm...), and possibly another one.
Chamber Ensemble- Expect some old English/Celtic carols from the vocal ensemble, maybe a sort of jazzy piece from Sampson Neslund, Valentin the exchange student, and Byron, and some sort of pretty traditional piece from the violinists, Savannah Tallino, Byron Neslund, and this new kid named Jeff.

Well I'm in Chamber and choir, and I'm not sure if it is going to be free or not, because Lhotka always changes his mind at the last minute, so bring some extra cash, just in case. And unless you wanna listen to music that makes you wanna bang your head into the wall, well I do ( but not this kind, this is bad kind), I suggest not to go, but unfortunally for me I have to be there, so got to see me!!! ;D

The jazz band is playing four songs:
Joy to the World-Up-tempo big-band style arrangement
First Noel-Mellow, Latin-rock arrangement
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen-Funky, two-chord, slap bass jam with dueling guitar solos by Bubba Meyers and myself.
Jingle Bell Jam-Quick, rock'n'roll style version with slammin saxes and lead guitar.
There will be a door charge, but Dale doesn't know how much it will be because he's insane. Also, the Chamber Ensemble will be doing a whole lot of stuff. Valentin, Samson, Byron, Ryan, and I will be doing a smooth jazz version of "Jingle Bells" and there will be some celtic chorus/guitar songs with the singers. It ought to be worth your money, see you there.

I posted that because I made an on-topic post earlier, expressing my desire to know about the concert as well. Just because I have a lot of posts doesn't mean everything I post is to get my count up. I just enjoy beign a part of stuff.

The only guys that would be good enough to do that with me are Valentin and Logan, and I don't think they would want to.

It's okay, Andy. I still have one song with an intense solo section. It'll be worth your money on Thursday.
