the tonedeaf sockpuppets sucked We were pretty good considering we hadn't been able to practice for a week before the show.

Just because you suck once doesn't mean you're a lost cause...yet.

We were pretty good considering we hadn't been able to practice for a week before the show. NECROPOLIS practiced ONCE, the day of the show. We still kicked everyone's ass. Metal has no equal.

Thanks, man. I love to hear that.
Alot of that "touch" is Jackson. That dude is awesome. Andy Banker and I have been playing together for years, but we only played once with Jackson and he still managed to make it sound really good. He is now the permanent replacement for Sam, who never really was a member of NECROPOLIS.

Except you guys are all really good musicians and we are all mediocre musicians. Considering the circustances, I was happy with our performance.

With the acoustics in that room, not even Neil Diamond would sound his best.

ehh, i think you guys are giving necropolis too much credit.. i'm not saying we were better or anything, it's just it's way too hyped. i don't like hype. that's why people were disappointed in us, because we were hyped and we had to fulfill expectations. noone else had ever heard us play in the... year, that we've been together, but yet we only had one practice all together as a band with drums ever since i've been back, and so we failed.
but anyway... you guys haven't heard the recordings. everyone playing could have been better.

also, showmanship makes up a lot of how the audience recieves you. that's one thing that i learned from hotwire... but then that might not be a good example.

That's why everybody cheered for us. People cheered for me during Sekerak's solo on that one song because I was goign insane all over the place. That's why we were awesome. Like Leedy said to me after the show, it went from pure chaos of awesome to technical and clean awesome. And Andrew, I thought you guys were awesome. I had no expectations, really, except that you guys would rock, which you did.

I must say that even though The Super Groove Operators stole the show (but I missed Justin's band so I'm not saying they were better then them) I must say that Time For Tea was a pantload of awesomeness. I was totally amazed with what you guys had come up with, and then having max sing that last song was my favorite part of the show. Though I am sorry I missed Justin's group, but after that tool duo I kind of just lost all hope for any posibility for further good music.

I can guarantee that next time NECROPOLIS plays we will kick our own ass. That was really a half-assed performance we put on that only looked good by comparison because we managed to play as a group, with everyone playing the same song at the same rhythm. We will be practicing regularly and working on originals to play at Thorstock so look out.

after that tool duo I kind of just lost all hope for any posibility for further good music. You're welcome for being allowed to play in the show at the last minute even though I don't like you, you're welcome for being allowed to exceed the time you told me you were going to use, and you're also welcome for being allowed to use my guitar, and my amplifier, asshole.
