i went to linfield college this weekend to see a good friend. there was a hypnotist comedian doing a free show and I found myself, actually against my will, volunteering as one of the jackasses to be made a jackass of on stage.
it was really really strange and cool and wild and awesome.
It didn't work so great on me because i'm such an analyst, but after a while, I knew the audience was there, but I couldn't respond to anything they did. I know they were laughing, but it made little sense to me. As it was going on, I didn't really know what was normal or real, but when he woke us up, everything became as clear as it could. I was incredibly relaxed and vulnerable.
He told us that we wouldn't remember anything about the show until we walked out of the auditorium. It was a weird moment when i stepped out the door. I wasn't nearly as deep as some of the other guys that did the really ridiculous things, but everything made sense when i stepped out that door. It was very very interesting and awesome. jump on your first chance to do it and do not fight it. go along with it, no matter who's doing it

MOST MEMORABLE HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCE: This one day in high school, I was walking down the hallway, and these two girls came up to me and said, "Todd -- I mean, Bob -- will you go to the prom with us?" Of course, I was pretty shocked at this news, and pretty flatted, too. So I said "Of course, ladies! I've got two B's! And there's an O in between!" We did go to the prom. But when we went, they poured the punch down my pants, which actually made it pretty fun to dance in, so I wasn't too upset about it. When I got home, I wrung out my tuxedo pants into a big bowl, and I had punch for later!
