i'm hoping we can play. so far the last couple of practices have just been max and me, and by "practice" i mean jamming and constantly coming up with new ideas instead of sticking to what we already have. we haven't even practiced with logan on the drums yet, just him on guitar. byron hasn't even heard us play yet, so... i'm hoping that we'll pull off two or three songs just to open. we need to get everyone together. the biggest problem is probably loga- i mean girlfri- i mean logan.

Girlfriends get int he way of practice. We have had that problem onc eor twice. Ah, such is the life of the frustrated single band member.

UPDATE:
We are rapidly approaching the date of our show, February 25/26. First of all, I have here the lineup for our Friday afternoon/lunchtime promotional:
Dr. Zaeus and the Tonedeaf Sock Puppets NECROPOLIS Winter's Apathy
I think three is good. Input/ideas will be considered.
The semi-OFFICIAL show lineup(In the order of appearance, subject to change), and time alotted(also subject to change):
Dr. Zaeus and the Tonedeaf Sock Puppets: 30 minutes
(Kelly and Ryan Docena's band, no name yet): 30 minutes
Time for Tea: 15 minutes
Winter's Apathy: 30 minutes
Yaefer: 15 minutes
All Against One: 5-10 minutes
The Shit/Free Beer/Death Metal Jam Band: 20 minutes (split up into.. what do you guys want? 5 minute spots sound good?)
Necropolis: 20 minutes
Solo Artists (some of whom wish to go unknown for now): 15-20 minutes
I'm cutting it close, that's between 2:30 and 3 hours. Want more time? Less time? Different spot? Email me (drzaeus@hotmail.com, not the best choice), reply here (best choice), or call me (486-7067, other best choice), or talk to me in school on monday (not so good), and we'll see how flexible I can get with it. Meade tells me 3 hours is the max, by the way. Also, I hope I didn't leave you out, but if I did, refer to the above contact methods.

Also, setup begins at 10:00 am, sound check at 3:00 pm, and everyone needs to be back in the foyer buy 6:00 pm. The show begins at 7:00 pm and goesuntil either 10:00 pm or it ends, whichever comes first. Bring your own amps, if you want. There will be amps there you may use as well. Ethan Pinto has graciously volunteered the use of his drum set, so treat it nice.

I think you should open with the Sockpuppets and close with NECROPOLIS. That way, you begin and end with everyone in the audience being ear-raped viciously, first with socks, then with METAL!

I am really pissed off now. I just found out today our drummer won't be here friday. Apparently Asa knew the whole time... and didn't say anything when we talked about what song we were playing friday... even though he knew Case was going to be gone. Anyway, I am really pissed at a bucnh of stuff right now, but who wants to take our spot Friday?

ok, here's the new billet.
Hour 1 (minus 10)
7:00 - Dr. Zaeus and the Tonedeaf Sock Puppets: 30 minutes
7:30(7:35) - Super Groove Operators: 20 minutes
Hour 2 (minus 5)
7:50(8:00) - Winter's Apathy: 30 minutes
8:20(8:35) - Yaefer: 15 minutes
8:35(8:55) - All Except One: 5-10 minutes
Hour 3 (plus 5)
8:45(9:05) - Time for Tea: 20 minutes
9:05(9:30) - Inter Silva: 15 minutes
9:20(9:50) - Bake: 20 minutes
9:40(10:10) - Necropolis: 20 minutes
that's cutting it real close. the times in parenthesis are the times if you add five minutes inbetween each act to set up. it'll be ok if we go over a tad i think, but everybody MUST be ready to go when it's time for them to go. DON'T TAKE FIVE MINUTES TO SET UP! WE NEED ALL THE TIME WE CAN GET!
i'm not sure what the sg ops are doing. you guys might not take up the full twenty minutes.

Andrew, I'd like a copy of the recordings. If I like any of the songs or feel that they are at a high enough quality to play over the radio, I'd sure as hell like to broadcast some Kodiak talent over KMXT. I'd talk with the band first before playing the stuff though.

Forrest, if ya really wanna play on Friday, I can see if I can drum for ya, dunno if I'm up to par for ya though, I"m not technically a drum, just a guy that can sort of play drums.
