well, the base-running was just a difference in velocities. no calculus necessary (given the velocities). related rates is as hard as it gets for single variable (but still cool). stick it through that and it gets easier, more intuitive and awesome. i know you like awesome. and i know you're bright. or maybe i just shouldn't worry about advocating my own interests and sounding like an utter geek..

I'm posting on PureVolume, talking to people in the PureVolume AIM chat room, watching Office Space and holding a three-day long conversation via PMs.

In orgasmic listening mode to "My Dream" by Fleetwood Mac. It's such a good guitar instrumental, I can't believe it.
plus, working on a song in garageband, and trying to figure out how to spend a 15 dollar gift certificate on amazon. I'm looking for something like Santana's "Abraxas". Something jazz-rocky. Hmm.

Holy shit! I was totally watching office space earlier, and my friend Matt VanDaele, with whom I am conversing via MSN messenger, is also watching it. Or was. Or something.

Recovering from my day at Alyeska, it was quite awesome but now I'm sore, and my face still hurts from the wind and snow.
Oh yeah, and more Maiden.
