Well atm my rig is pretty meager. A Cort S2550 guitar w/ custom pickups (Stock humbucker at bridge, fender reverse wound pickup in middle, and SD Cool Rails pickup at neck), and a lil peavey practice amp. However, I'm buyin me a Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier half-stack in the not too distant future, which will most definitely rock.

That comment right there should cause anyone that reads it to discount all opinions you voice about music or musical instruments. The Jackson Randy Rhoads is a classic metal guitar that has been popular since it was released in 1984. These days, it is used by diverse metalheads such as Karl Logan of Manowar, Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom, and even nu-metal losers like Dope. so why get it if it's so poppy? and what's the advantage to larger frets? one of my greatest friends has the biggest hands and he plays very well with normal frets and can solo with the rest of ya's that body shape isn't very comfortable to play with either. what else can i say to shoot you down and get a rise out of you..?

I didn't say it was "poppy." And I like jumbo frets because they give a clearer tone with easier bends and make it smoother to play quickly. Randy Rhoads himself played with little frets, but I like'em big.

Can you have your little squabbles in someone else's forum, Nic? I want to keep this one as spam-free as possible.
