I saw a music video of these guys on itunes MS, and decided to watch it. Anyway, I was impressed. They're a hard rock band with some heavy southern influences (Molly Hatchet, Skynyrd). The best thing is that they don't sound like a Strokes wannabe band (like all the "cool" new rock out there.) All they have out right now is an EP, but it's a sign that the upcoming album's going to rock.
Check out "Buffalo Creek"- my favorite song by them. It's a free watch on the itunes MS music video section. THEY WILL ROCK YOU.
Also check out Silvertide, who has a similar sound. Heavy southern rock is back on the rise.

Because they've been dubbed as "cool". Granted I actually like a few of their songs, but they really need to lose the shitty lo-fi singing. It sounds like shit. For example....I like their song "Automatic Stop", but the singing sounds like shit.

If you want cool new rock, listen to 3 Inches of Blood. They don't sound like the Strokes either.
