vinyl sucks ass. it has inferior sound quality to cds and its big and bulky and more fragile and you cant search by tracks and the players are expensive and hard to get, and they break easily.
listening to vinyl does not make you cooler than one who listens to cd's.

Who said it made you cooler? I just like the sound of it more. thats like saying you like ripped jeans more than regular jeans. you like them because of their shittiness, so you go out of your way to get them shitty. go ahead, listen to your inferior sounds. i guess me and forrest WONT be seeing you in valhala. you get to go to the fag afterlife instead. oh, and thanks for the pizza, and cheese.

Go outta my way nothing, I just listen to all my dad's old vinyla albums that I don't have on cd, I've never spent any money on vinyl, I just like the nice little hum and skirityness at the beginning of the album.

Vinyl (when new) has no noticeable sound difference to a CD or other digital recording, the only difference is, CDs will sound that way forever and vinyls will wear out after a few weeks or months of listening. The only cool thing about vinyl is that the album art is massive on the old sleeves. Other than that, overrated waste of time. Just like emo.

The only time vinyl sounds better is on the old recordings from the 60s and 70s. The new CD remasters are sometimes shittily done and the only way you can hear the original recordings without tampering is on the original record (or if you can get a CD taken strait off the master tape--non remaster)

i love weezer. and vinyl is okay, and like leedy said, its awesome how the album art is huge on vinyl, like for instance, my parents have goodbye yellow brick road by elton john on vinyl. on cd, this album art would be considered really gay. on vinyl its UBER GAY, because you can see the fact that it is a painting of him wearing elevator shoes, gay sunglasses, and some fruity pink pants or something, while going down a yellow brick road. definately gay, and all thanks to vinyl.

Hearing "This is Such a Pity" from the new album Make Believe was such a throwback to the Cars. The album is pretty average...the blue album remains their best work without a doubt.

I'm gonna have to go with either Queen of the Reich or Operation:Mindcrime for the best of their stuff, Reich is more classic Metal style, but Mindcrime has really intricate songwriting and shreddery. Both very good albums.

We had Brandon Howard and Justin Schraeder sing "Mm Bop" loudly in Pizza Hut to be inducted to the Hall of Fame. I think that means I like Hansen too.

When I was at the EMP in Seattle, they had a whole bunch of original Queensryche costumes...and Metal Church too. I have pictures if you wanna see 'em.
And I enjoy Weezer. More than I enjoy Hanson.
