And highly encouraged.) Note: No, this thread isn't just for Sirofchuck's students to steal poems off of to put in our journals. What were you thinking?

a tanka is a haiku written normally but then at the end you add two more lines to it having seven syllables.

This kind of poem is a limmeric I write them all day and they make me sick They're usually naughty And often quite haughty And end in bad words such as "dick".

actually that one took some inspiration from a song that i was listening to. Actually, that's kinda embarrassing. It's not like I listen to ABBA on a regular basis or anything. It's okay guys. I'm listening to AC/DC now. Calm down. Take a deep breath. Count to ten or something.

you are forgetting saab and volvo, which are cars that i like for some odd reason. not because they are swedish made, but look cool.
at least to me they do. they are the poor man's porsche and mercedes.... car.
