It's weird the things that stick in your head, isn't it? I remember one time in Canada I bought a hat at the Continental Divide gift shop on the Alcan and the guy said it was ten dollars American. After we left, I looked at the price tag and saw that it was only twelve dollars Canadian. I was really mad that this guy had just ripped me off for a good buck fifty. you know the exchange rate isn't constant, right? i must think you're pretty stupid

That was the point of my story. I remembered this pointless thing that didn't matter and probably wasn't even a real rip off. I mean, he didn't even tell me "op."

This looks really funny all as one sentence:
A man once told me op, and then he threw a purple at me.

nono this man was not saying sup. he was like 65 s is the most prominent sound in the english language and it also happens to generally be around the frequency most of our ear canals resonate at naturally. i'm sure there was no s he was kind of looking at me like i had just told him op crazy bastard

maybe he heard the op too maybe neither of us said op, but we both heard it. that would explain everything, but it's nuts

So he was saying it like "Op?". That would actually be funnier. Because he's not telling you op, he asking you op.

it was a monotonous op, unlike a question which generally rises in pitch right before the question mark. I did see an Ocean Pacific shirt with Op on the shoulder
